WHO WE ARE

THE HOBBS

Hello and Welcome! We are The Hobbs Family; Scott, Michelle, Lilly, Madie, and Lincoln. We are a family passionate about helping the Church be the Church through training in evangelism and discipleship.

Scott and I (Michelle) have been married for 29 years. We were saved in our late twenties and have been growing in our faith ever since. While we served in the local church on the elder board, teaching classes, and counseling, we began to sense that the Church was missing something. Digging into what Christ said the Church was supposed to look like, a desire to actually live out Christ’s commands took root.

Our family was called into full time ministry in 2016 after being part of a county wide revival in our hometown. For twenty-five years prior to that, Scott owned a successful trucking company, which he loved, but the Lord asked him to set that aside and set his sights on training his fellow Christians to share the Gospel with confidence in their everyday lives.

This became a true family endeavor. Our children, who were 12, 10, and 7 years old at the time, learned to share the Gospel with boldness (better than us adults, if I’m honest). Out of that confidence to share the Gospel, they have since developed ministries of their own. Lincoln has a passion for discipleship with young men, and is using his powerlifting platform to talk about Jesus. The girls, Lilly and Madie, started The Few in 2018 as an in-person Bible Study with other teenage girls. This Bible Study continues each week, in-person for local girls and through video calls with those farther away. In addition, they have published a blog for the past five years and have a growing podcast, A Few Minutes With The Few.

It has been our great privilege to see Christians have life changing experiences while being empowered and taught how to share the Gospel in a very practical way. We would love to have the opportunity to share our training and outreach methods with your church!

THE COMPANY

We are blessed to have several people who have been trained in this practical method of evangelism who travel with us in order to lead and teach other groups how to implement it. They have been so profoundly impacted by their personal experiences sharing the Gospel that they are willing to travel to other churches to share their wisdom!
